This specialty course is designed for anyone who is dancing, performing, teaching, or judging Bachata as a dance. It takes a practical, yet fundamental dive into the core essential elements that identify Bachata as a musical genre and dance. These core elements are crucial to understand and maintain the integrity of the dance.
** Note: This course is not intended to teach style. Instead, it presents the minimum essentials that are universally adopted to distinguish Bachata from other Afro-Caribbean/Afro-Latin dances.
